Running is always easier when you focus on exactly what you are doing at the time - in the present, at this moment. If you can eradicate how far you have run, eliminate how far you have to still run, you have expelled two of your problems. The future and the past are our running enemies.
Be aware of how far you have gone and how far you have to go but don’t focus on them. Focus on that moment, each step. Train your mind to do this naturally, meditate on it while you are running so it becomes second nature deep in your subconscious.
Ignore the past - how far you have run and the future – how far you have to run.
Run in the fully in the Present.
Run for the moment!
